The amount of ethyl yellow is 80~240g/t; the black medicine is used less, and its consumption is 40~100g/t. Xanthate as a bright yellow powder, of the general formula:

R (here, C 2 H 5) are each a hydrocarbon and an alkali metal and potassium sodium Me. Xanthate is highly soluble in water and ionized, dissociating into xanthogen ions and losing the collector. To avoid or reduce the formation of xanthogen, the OH - concentration in the solution must be increased. Therefore, xanthate should be used in neutral alkaline pulp, and the effect is better.
2, foaming agent
Commonly used No. 2 oil, secondary use of camphor oil, alcohol, cresol and so on. The amount of oil No. 2 is 20~100g/t. The basic component of No. 2 oil is terpene alcohol (C 10 H 17 OH), which is light yellow or dark brown with a density of 0.86 to 0.94 g/cm 3 . The standard contains 60% terpene alcohol and 40% terpene secondary alcohol and ether compounds.
3, activator
Flotation cinnabar mainly copper sulfate, the amount is generally 40 ~ 300g / t.
4, inhibitor
(1) Lime ore containing more pyrite, arsenopyrite and stibnite, lime they are more potent inhibitors, typically in an amount of 500 ~ 1000g / t.
(2) Cyanide It is a potent inhibitor of pyrite, but it is generally not used because of its toxicity.
(3) In addition to its use as waterglass sludge dispersant outer, or quartz, silicates, aluminosilicates and dolomite inhibitors. If the dosage is too large and the addition is improperly formulated, it will also inhibit the cinnabar, especially in the ball mill . The general dosage is 100~1000g/t. 5. PH value of cinnabar flotation
The role of all agents in flotation is related to the pH of the pulp. It is generally preferred to control the pH of the pulp to be 6 or 7.5 (below).

6. Concentration and fineness of pulp
The concentration of the slurry during flotation is 25% to 33%, but the slurry with a large degree of muddy and fine particle size should be operated at a relatively dilute concentration (12% to 20%). The fineness of the slurry during the flotation of mercury ore is generally controlled at -200 mesh for 75% to 80%.
