On November 27th, the two-day “2009 Bosch - Yuchai Second Summit Forum†kicked off in Sanya, Hainan. Present at the meeting were Yu Ping, Chairman of Yuchai Group Co., Ltd., and Li Tiansheng, Vice Chairman; 20 Yuchai leaders, including Yu Jie, Deputy General Manager of the joint stock company; and DS-CV/SA, a diesel engine commercial vehicle division of Germany. This meeting is the second summit held after the two parties signed the "strategic cooperation agreement" in 2007. The meeting is divided into two parts: market forum meetings and outdoor development.
At the meeting, the two parties discussed the current cooperation development situation and future strategic cooperation. Fuping sincerely invites Bosch to participate in the development of Yuchai in the future. Bosch said that it will carefully evaluate the feasibility. Weissbeck, President of Commercial Vehicle Sales at Bosch Headquarters and Maier, General Manager of Wuxi Bosch, introduced the business development of the Bosch Group and the Diesel Systems Division over the past year and the Company's strategic development adjustments. According to the Bosch research and evaluation, the global demand for energy-saving emission reduction strategies, diesel engines are facing an unprecedented opportunity for development.
According to reports, the " Bosch - Yuchai Summit Forum" is planned to be held once a year and will be hosted by Yuchai and Bosch in turn. The second summit forum hosted by Yuchai was a complete success.
