Hey everyone,
This message is from John Tulipano. He just sent this out:

Around 12:30 PM today, the Warrenville Fire Protection District got a call about a chimney fire at 29W601 Ridge. As more people called in to report it, DuComm escalated the situation to a general alarm. When Chief 11 arrived, he confirmed that the fire had spread through the roof. I got there just before Warrenville Truck 11. The first engine crew immediately started fighting the fire from inside. It seemed like the chimney, part of the roof, and the attic were all affected. Thankfully, the interior team managed to douse most of the flames from the second floor, and within about 15 minutes, the fire was under control.
I've attached some photos I took. You can see the damage to the chimney and how the firefighters worked quickly to get things under control. There's also a shot of the fire trucks arriving at the scene. These images really show how intense it was but also how well the firefighters handled the situation.
Take a look at these photos to get a better sense of what happened. Hopefully, the homeowners will be okay, and the damage isn't too extensive.

Let me know if you have any questions or if anyone knows the homeowners so we can check in on them.
Best,
