This is from Dennis McGuire, Jr.

The Alsip Fire Department, in collaboration with the Garden Homes Fire Protection District and the Homewood Acres Fire Protection District, conducted a controlled burn at a vacant home located at 120th Street and Hamlin Avenue in Alsip, Illinois. The event was part of a multi-week training exercise designed to simulate real-world fire scenarios and improve interdepartmental coordination.
Before the final burn, each department participated in several smaller training exercises at the site. I arrived toward the end of the process and was able to capture the final stages of this comprehensive training session, which had been months in the making.
