The Broadview Fire Department held a live fire training session on Thursday at the intersection of Filmore and 17th Street. For several hours, firefighters practiced tackling room fires inside an empty house, gradually escalating the intensity until the structure was fully involved in flames. Tim Olk was present and captured a series of compelling images showcasing the firefighters, their equipment, and the intense training scenario. Several other MABAS Division 20 departments also participated in the exercises, highlighting the collaborative nature of the event.
Tim has compiled a large gallery of photos from the event, which you can view here. The training provided valuable hands-on experience for firefighters and showcased the professionalism and dedication of the department.
