I captured these photos on Sunday morning, June 18th, at the Blue Island Dive Box located along Ashland Avenue over the Calumet River. I’m not sure if the original call was about someone who jumped from the bridge or simply fell in. Fire departments and rescue teams were on the scene for several hours but didn’t find anything by the time I wrote this. I thought it would be interesting to share some of the equipment and rigs that were deployed during the operation.
