The Round Lake Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at a residential home located at 344 Biros Lane in Round Lake Park. Firefighters arrived to find intense flames spreading through the attic, roof, and parts of the second floor, as well as the rear of the house.
According to Scott Peterson, who witnessed the scene: "When the crews arrived, there was heavy fire throughout the entire attic and roof, along with part of the second floor and the back of the house."
