According to the "Notice on Implementing the Fifth Stage National Motor Vehicle Emission Standards" issued by Urumqi, Urumqi will implement the motor vehicle national five standards in stages. Since January 1 this year, all light-duty gasoline vehicles and heavy-duty diesel vehicles manufactured, imported, sold and registered must meet the requirements of the National 5th Standard; from January 1 next year, all manufactured, imported, sold and registered Light-duty diesel vehicles and light-duty diesel vehicles that are transferred to the outside are required to meet the requirements of the National Five Standards. The environmental protection department will carry out supervision and inspection of environmental protection standards for motor vehicles in accordance with the law, and impose strict penalties on enterprises that newly produce and sell vehicles that do not meet the emission standards.
It is understood that after upgrading the quality of gasoline and diesel for vehicles, the sulfur content in the fuel will be reduced by 80%, and as the quality of the oil is improved, the combustion will be more sufficient, and the PM2.5 emission in the exhaust gas can be directly reduced.
