The climate in southern Yunnan is a tropical climate. Plants in this climate are called tropical plants. However, the specific influencing factors on the germination of tropical plants seeds are still relatively vague. This requires careful experiments to effectively analyze the germination of plants in tropical climates. For this purpose, seeds of tropical plants can be sampled and counted using an electronic automatic counting instrument to prepare samples for accurate test results. For this purpose, 256 seeds of tropical plants were selected for experimentation.

The seeds sampled by the electronic automatic number counting machine are generally stored in the room for one month before the germination experiment. The germination temperature is set in five types: 18°C, 24°C, 30°C, 36°C, and 42°C; there are two kinds of lighting conditions : Daily 14 hours light (14HL), all day in the dark (24HD, dark shade with a black cloth). The germination matrix is ​​usually agar, and the number of sampling seeds is 100 to 300, the medium seed 50 to 100, and the large seed 10 to 50, repeated three times. In such a tedious and tedious sampling process, the electronic automatic particle counting apparatus is not only more accurate, but also liberates researchers from such mechanical work. Observations were made once a week and the number of germinating seeds was recorded (the germination was observed when there were more than 5 mm of radicle outgrowth). The duration of the germination test is generally not less than 1 month, but the experiment is terminated if the seed is severely rotted during the germination experiment.

The germination experiments of these 256 plant seeds showed that the average germination rate at 180C.240C and 300C was higher and there was no significant difference between the 14-hour and full-dark conditions (Table 1). Seen from the number of plants that can germinate, there are 131 species of plants that have not germinated under the various conditions set; the seeds capable of germinating under 240C 14-hour light conditions have the largest number of 116 species; 420C under full dark conditions The least (28 species). For the total number of plants that the seed could germinate under both light conditions, the number of species that germinated at 240C was the highest, being 223, but the difference was very small when compared with 180CX 211 species and 300CX 216 species (Table 2); Among the 125 plants that germinated (as long as germination rate was not 0, they were considered to be able to germinate), 35 (28%) of the plant seeds had the highest germination rate at 180C and 82 species (65.6%). The plant seeds were the highest at 240C.300C, and the seeds of 22 species (17.6%) had the highest germination rate at 36.420C (some plant seeds reached the highest point at various temperatures), so 18-}-300C can be considered as Suitable temperatures for the germination of these tropical plants.

The seed samples obtained by electronic automatic particle counting are germination experiments done at room temperature for a period of time and then placed under constant temperature conditions during the setting of germination conditions. However, in the Xishuangbanna area of ​​southern Fujian, the temperature difference between day and night is very large. The constant temperature conditions and the habitat in the wild are completely different. Observing Meng in the condition of changing temperature is more conducive to the experiment.
