Subject: Update on Fire Department Radio Identification Numbers
Hi everyone,
This message comes from Scott Matthews, and he wanted to share some important updates regarding our fire department’s radio identification numbers. If you haven’t heard about these changes yet, here’s the full list of what’s been updated:

**Station 51:**
- **Engine 531** is now **Engine 51**.
- **Tanker 537** is now **Tender 51**.
- **Ambulance 534** is now **Ambulance 51**.
- **Squad 537** is now **Squad 51**.
- **Brush Truck 538** is now **Brush 51**.
- **Chief 500** is now **Chief 51**.
- **Chief 501** is now **Chief 52**.
**Station 52:**
- **Engine 532** is now **Engine 52**.
- **Truck 529** is now **Truck 52**.
- **Ambulance 524** is now **Ambulance 52**.
- **Reserve Ambulance 535** is now **Ambulance 53**.
**Station 53:**
- **Tanker 517** is now **Tender 53**.
- **Arson Buggy 518** is now **Utility 53**.

Scott also mentioned a few additional points worth noting:
1. Starting January 1, 2013, due to budget cuts that reduced manpower, **Truck 52** has been relocated to Station 51. Meanwhile, **Reserve Engine 52** has been moved to Station 52, making it the primary response engine there. The **Squad** was also shifted to Station 52 because of space limitations at Station 51. Additionally, **Reserve Ambulance 53** is now housed at Station 52.
2. Our 2012 **Ambulance 534** underwent some warranty-related paintwork and was subsequently renumbered to **Ambulance 51** to align with the new call numbers.
3. There’s a brand-new brush truck joining the fleet! It’s a 2015 **Ford F350 Super Duty extended cab**, equipped with a **Darley Fast Attack skid unit** featuring a **300-gallon water tank**, a **10-gallon foam tank**, and a **100-foot 1-inch booster reel**. During winter months, this vehicle will double as our plow truck. Scott promised to send more photos once the attack unit is fully installed.
I’ve attached a picture of the new brush truck below. It looks fantastic and should be a great asset for the department.
