To adjust the nose pads, gently push them together using your thumbs. This will bring them closer to your nose for a more secure fit. If you have a solid frame, try placing the arms in a bowl of warm water for 30–60 seconds. This softens the material, making it easier to adjust for a snugger fit behind your ears. Keep in mind that the effectiveness of this method can vary depending on the type of frame — for example, plastic or stainless steel frames tend to be more flexible when heated.
If you want to loosen the fit, gently spread the nose pads apart until they sit comfortably on your nose. For solid frames, place the glasses in warm water again and then pull the arms up and away from your ears to create a more relaxed fit.
**One lens is closer to your eye than the other...**
If your left lens is closer to your face, gently bend the left arm inward and the right arm outward at the hinge. If the opposite is true, adjust the corresponding arms. Always make these changes at the hinge and apply minimal force to avoid damaging the frame.
**One lens is higher than the other...**
If one lens sits higher than the other, carefully bend the arm down where it’s most adjustable — typically at the hinge or near the ear. This helps level the frame and improve comfort.
