Dynatec [1,2], experienced in pressure leaching, does not work very well when leaching zinc concentrates by adding surfactants to prevent the coating and agglomeration of sulfur and sulfide ore. Mainly due to the decomposition of the surfactant in an oxidizing acid solution. In a large number of experiments found that coal dust is the most stable and inexpensive additives. Not only that, but also equally effective when the copper concentrate leach zinc concentrate leaching can be achieved yield of the desired industrial applications and higher leaching rate elemental sulfur [3,4]. Coal with a lower carbon content is preferred because coal with a high carbon content is composed of an aromatic hydrocarbon compound, and low carbon is an alkane compound. The test results show that it is preferable to select coal with a carbon content of 25% to 55%, mainly alkane. Ground to 60 μm. It can be ground beforehand or ground with mineral powder. The amount of addition is related to the composition and properties of pulverized coal, between 3~50kg/t ore, generally around 10kg/t. The decomposition rate of pulverized coal during the leaching process does not exceed 50%.
