North Palos FPD ambulance updates

North Palos transferred the Osage rechassis Ambulance 8R2 (2003 Ford) onto a new Chevy Express chassis. The former ambulance 822 was then placed into reserve status and renumbered as 8R2. All the photos are mine, except for the one of the former 822, which is an Osage photo.

I’ve been collecting these images over the years, and it’s always interesting to see how departments update their fleets. In this case, North Palos made some changes by swapping out the chassis of ambulance 8R2. It's a great example of how older units can be repurposed or upgraded.
