The O-type shut-off ball valve is a quarter-turn on-off valve primarily used for controlling the flow of media. This series of ball valves features a round hole in the ball, which aligns with the body's flow channel when opened, offering high flow capacity. Compared to plug valves, it has a smaller structural size, lighter weight, and self-cleaning functionality between the plug and seat. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for viscous, fibrous media, and those containing suspended solid particles. It also exhibits low thermal expansion impact due to temperature changes and provides excellent sealing performance. These valves are widely applied in industries such as petrochemical, metallurgy, chemical fiber, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, hydroelectric stations, and more, meeting the needs for remote control of process parameters like flow, pressure, temperature, and liquid level for gases, liquids, or corrosive media.
