The 130,000-ton-per-year aniline project, funded by the Shanxi Tianji Group, has been in development for over a year. Construction officially entered its critical phase in March this year, with equipment installation now in full swing. The project is on track to begin trial operations and chemical feed in June, marking a major milestone for the company. Tianji Group introduced the concept of "building simultaneously, both internally and externally," which led to the realization of this large-scale aniline production facility. This project marks a significant step for the group as it transitions from inorganic to organic chemicals. The facility is divided into two main sections: nitrobenzene and aniline, both employing cutting-edge technology from around the world. Currently, the market price for aniline raw materials has dropped, while demand for aniline itself is expected to rise, creating favorable conditions for the project. Once operational, the aniline plant will become a new source of revenue for Tianji Group, helping to offset the pressure from rising raw material costs for fertilizers and falling fertilizer prices. Construction of the aniline project started at the end of 2004. The team worked efficiently, and the project made rapid progress. Infrastructure was completed in February this year, and the project has now moved into the crucial stage of equipment installation. In response, the group launched a “120-day intensive operation” to ensure completion and commissioning by June. This initiative aims to mobilize all resources to accelerate the process and gain a competitive edge in the market. According to the schedule, equipment installation will be completed by April 30. Process pipeline installation will wrap up by May 31, and the public utility pipeline network will be fully established by June 15. Trial production is set to begin on June 30, signaling the official start of the project’s operations.
