After preliminary investigation, at 20:00 on May 20th, Ms. Yang, the driver of the Third Bus Branch of the bus group, drove the K3 bus from the Daguan Passenger Transport Center Station to the Chengzhan Railway Station.

On the way, Ms. Yang and passenger Zhang Mo (female, 49) disputed whether or not to swipe. When passing through the six districts in Zhaohui, Zhang suddenly pulled the driver who was driving the bus, causing Ms. Yang to lose control of the bus.

After the accident, the injured person was sent to the hospital for treatment. As of 15:00 on May 21, 14 injured passengers and staff members were still in hospital for observation and treatment. All other injured patients had left the hospital after initial treatment.
