Commercial fire in Waukegan, 10-10-15

This just came in from Larry Shapiro: Hi everyone, I wanted to share some updates and photos from the fire incident that took place early this morning (October 10, 2015). Both the Waukegan Fire Department and the North Chicago Fire Department received multiple calls around the same time regarding smoke in the area or reports of a fire. As soon as emergency crews arrived at the scene, they discovered a large fire raging at Waukegan Towing and Auto Repair, located at 1115 Elizabeth Street. This address is very close to the boundary between Waukegan and North Chicago. The initial alarm was quickly escalated to a Box Alarm, but it was later adjusted to a "change of quarters" alert before being expanded again to bring in additional units to support firefighting efforts. The situation was quite intense, and here are some of the images I captured. A video will be posted shortly.
